Welcome
and thank you for visiting! Join me as I train for my first triathlon and attempt to raise $6,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. There are sure to be near drownings, nasty spills, and tons of entertaining novice mistakes - you don't want to miss it! And because I am doing this in honor of my mom, Judy, I will throw in some of my favorite stories of us and how she helped get me to this point.

Three Day Calm Down

Finally, my nerves are starting to settle down after a really good run last night.  I did a quick, easy 30 minute run last night and I felt great.  I can take a deep breath now!

Tomorrow I will probably want to throw up again. But for now, I will bask in my calm state of mind.

Runner's World quote of today - (couldn't be more fitting): "Spirit has fifty times the strength and staying power of brawn and muscle."

I'm ready.
